CAPE TOWN CITY TRIP

7 Day Cape Town and surroundings visit with a lot of highlights. Visit the Capital of the rainbow nation in combination with a visit to the winelands and find the Big 5.
You stay 2 nights in a 4 or 5-star hotel in V&A Waterfront, a touristic highlight where it bustles from morning till night, and in a 5-star Guesthouse in the greater Cape Town Area.
We will pick you up at your hotel / guesthouse for 3 full day guided tours (English, Dutch or German). On 2 days you can explore the city and the V&A Waterfront at your own speed with a ticket for the hop-on-hop-off bus. Depending on the flight times we make a program for the first and last day.
This city trip includes a visit to Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach Penguins, Imizamo Yethu Township in Houtbaai, Chapman’s Peak, Table Mountain, Big 5 at Aquila Private Game Reserve, and winetasting in the Winelands (Stellenbosch and Franschhoek). Further, we provide tickets for 2 days Hop-on-hop-off bus with a free guided city walk and a free canal or harbor cruise and tickets for 2 Oceans Aquarium.
Optional we can book tickets for Robben Island tour, which departs in V&A Waterfront, and MOCCA – Zeitz Museum of Modern Contemporary African Art.

Your journey
Day 1 - Arrival at Cape Town International Airport
We pick you up from the airport and bring you to your 1st night accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, we organize an activity in the afternoon or evening.
Day 2 - Cape Peninsula Tour
From your accommodation we drive to Cape Town and will visit Houtbaai (Imizamo Yethu Township), Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point and Boulders Beach Penguins. Late afternoon we will bring you to your accommodation in V&A Waterfront where you will stay for the next 2 nights.
Day 3 - Cape Town
Today and tomorrow you will discover Cape Town on the hop-on-hop-off bus. We will help you to plan your routes and days. Included are tickets for Table Mountain Aerial Cable Way, 2- Oceans Aquarium, Guided City Walk, Harbor- or Canal cruise. Depending on the weather we can book for you a boat trip to Robben Island (optional).
Day 4 - Cape Town
Today is your second day in Cape Town. As you have a 2-day hop-on-hop-off ticket, you can visit the remaining highlights. Between 5 and 7 PM we come an pick you up and we drive to your next destination.
Day 5 - Aquila Private Game Reserve
We leave early and drive via the Winelands into the Klein Karoo where we will go on photo safari. Aquila Private Game Reserve has all 5 Big 5 animals in their 10 000 ha game reserve. Let's see how many we can spot today. This tour is including breakfast, 2-3 hour game drive, lunch and eco-tour on the farm. If we skip the eco-tour we have time to visit the language monument in Paarl (traffic depending)
Dat 6 - Cape Winelands
Today we will discover the Cape Winelands. After breakfast in one of the best South African Farmstalls we will drive via a scenic route and the Franschhoek Pass to Franschhoek, where we will stay for about an hour. On our way back to Somerset West we will visit 2 or 3 wine estates in Franschhoek and Stellenbosch to do some wine-tasting.
Day 7 - Returning Home
Depending on your flight times back home we can visit some nice places in the vicinity of Somerset West:
- Vergelegen Wine Estate - established in 1700 and a rich history
- Cheetah Outreach
- Strand Beach for a beach walk
- Play a round of golf.
